  • National Poetry Day

    To celebrate National Poetry Day this year, students at Norton College in Years 7, 8 & 9 have put some rhymes, raps and verses on to the page, on the universal theme of messages.

    They've written messages about what they love, what they're sorry for, life at Norton College and lots of acts of everyday kindness.

    To add to the inventiveness on the day, some of the poems took flight, tied to helium-filled, bio-degradable balloons. Although most poems have been randomly placed around Norton and Malton to be picked up and read by passers-by.
