  • College Pride in Sporting Success

    We are proud of Leah's achievement in cricket. Leah joined Norton College 5 years ago with a love for cricket and a committed family behind her. Assisted by Norton's PE depts. connections, Leah began to accelerate her progress and at the start of year 11 she has just finished another incredible season of cricket, playing for Yorkshire at under 15, under 17 and 2nd XI. She scored the most runs this season across all the Yorkshire female age groups. Leah also won the Lady Taverners National Under 15 T20 competition with Sessay Cricket Club (Thirsk).

  • Inspection of Norton College on 20 September 2017

    HMI Renshaw and her team visited the college on Wednesday 20th September 2017 for one day. She shared their findings with governors and leaders on Wednesday evening. Whilst the outcome remains confidential at this point, governors and leaders were pleased with the outcome. The short inspection report will be published within 19 days.

    In a new demanding landscape of English and Maths GCSE, graded 9-1, the high standards of Norton College have been mainitained. Students, staff and families celebrated another brilliant set of results which placed the school in the top 20% of all schools. Once again almost 75% of students secured good passes in these critical subjects.
