Norton College uses Microsoft Teams for both student Remote Learning, and also as a Covid-19 safe method of allowing face to face meetings between staff and parents, for such things as Parents Evenings and Open Evenings.
Microsoft Teams is free to install on most home computing devices, and the download links for these free downloads can be found below.
|Microsoft Windows||Apple MacOS|
|Apple IOS||Google Android|
Microsoft Teams for student Remote Learning
Once installed, students just need to sign in to Teams with their full College email address and password. If students are unsure of their email address and/or password, please contact Mr Austin or Mr Layton who can help with this.
Distance Learning lessons will be created by staff and students will be invited to them, with the lesson added to the students Teams Calendar section. Students can join the lessons by clicking on the JOIN button for appropriate lesson.
Microsoft Teams for Parents Evenings
If you are a parent who is taking part in a school Parents Evening meeting, please also have your child sign into Teams with their email address and password. This is the best method for most to ensure that we can reach you at the allotted time.
