Our Aim
For the duration of the nationwide school closure announced by the government, staff at Norton College acknowledge our responsibility to maintain the link between home and school and recognises the importance of working together to safeguard all children during this unprecedented time
This page is designed as a measured response to ensure that all students and their parents have information and guidance to ensure children are kept as safe as reasonably possible whilst the school is closed.
Sharing concerns
Should you have a concern about the welfare of a young person, you can access support by contacting Mrs Barber, the Designated Safeguarding Lead in the first instance, or Mrs Gilbank her Deputy. They will be available on the numbers below during office hours whilst in college or working from home. They can also be contacted via email.

Alternatively, If you are worried about a child or a young person, you could contact the Children and Young People’s Service through the Multi Agency Screening Team (MAST). If your concern is outside of normal office hours, you should contact the emergency duty team.
